Activate text entry when the search icon is clicked

When browsing "all projects" https://infrastructurecloud.bentley.com/all-projects/my-projects a central and immediate function on that screen is search.

However, to start that search, you need to

1: Click the magnifying glass icon to reveal the text field, then

2: Click that revealed text field to make it active, then

3: Start typing.

Please eliminate step 1 or step 2, or both.
