Once Groups are established, defining clash rules is relatively straightforward. However, clearance behaviour between Set A and Set B is confusing.
Observed behaviour:
• If Self Check is enabled, each set uses its own clearance value
• Cross set clashes use the larger of the two clearance values
• If Self Check is disabled for both sets, only a single clearance check is applied using the larger value, This contradicts advice received from Bentley (Jimmy), who indicated that clearance acts as a buffer around each element and should be summed (e.g. two 300 mm clearances resulting in 600 mm total). Bentley to confirm the intended behaviour.
