Bentley Infrastructure Cloud IDEAS Portal - New
VDOT is looking for a way to automate the synching of the user lists to add the new users to the projects in the portal. We have over 1000 Locally Administered projects using PWDM and we're constantly adding new users to the user lists and that requires we manually resync each project.
ProjectWise Web connections service has introduced automatic user synchronization some time ago. It synchronizes the users to Team member section in the portal. Deliverables Management does have its own user management solution in Connect portal, so the Web connections sync is not useful in this portal. However, in Bentley Infrastructure Cloud portal (which is the future target portal for all Bentley users) Deliverables Management works with the main Team member management section and the automatic Web connection sync can be used for giving users access to Deliverables Management.
