After an update it seems we can't use the type function to set a specific date in the forms, it was there before but now t doesn't work anymore. So quite annoying and time consuming to select the date from the list.
Understood this was a decision of our current UX system. If you use "tab" to navigate the form (rather than click on the field directly) you can still type the date directly.
