In many cases, dropdown options need to be expanded dynamically as new data is generated. Example > crew and equipment on site. Many of them are daily repeatable entries, but crews and equipment are frequently updated as well, and it is extremely hard to maintain manually.
The user should be able to select from an existing dropdown list or manually enter a new entry, which becomes a dropdown going forward.
I understand the request; however, this approach doesn’t align with our current data model. Implementing it would require all users to have Forms Manager permissions (to add items to property lists), which would reduce the level of control Forms Managers have over form design.
