Problem to solve: Currently changing permissions to a form takes about 15 minutes to come to effect.
User needs: When testing and developing workflows we are sat in a meeting with other professionals. We change permissions to test scenarios. The 15 minute delay has a negative impact on the time of these professionals and time cost to form development
High-level requirements: Decrease the propagation of the permissions, role changes through the back end to seconds
Bentley colleagues must make efforts to provide insights to the team to consider prioritizing this, too:
Reach: how many users in your organization would use this, if this is implemented?
For Bentley colleagues, please make your educated guess on how many end users this would reach.
Impact: how does it benefit users? - fill a major gap in their workflow, much faster development
Business impact: people do not want to sit in a meeting and wait 15 minutes for change to materialise, and therefore loose confidence in the product
Any prerequisites this would require?none
Reproducible steps, in bullets:
change permissions, roles, add/remove users
Expected behaviors: change is immediate and testing or use of form can continue
Actual behaviors: wait 15 minutes before being able to use the form with the new users/permissions
