Sure Luke, The idea is that the filters created in Synchro come across to the cloud,
So the users can access the filters that the 4D planner created to visualize the model.
For instance, sometimes the models have duplicated items, or we link only the elements that are within scope, then we filter elements that are not assigned.
If the users cannot access this filter, they are seeing a sea of floating elements.
Many thanks for your quick reply and the clarification.
The "Tree View" for the 3D model view does allow a user to Filter by "hovering" on any "branch" of the tree (the filter icon then appears on the far right-hand side) and, when clicked, a user can apply filters based on the properties of the model and the model elements. Please see the screenshots below:
Is this what you are looking for or something in addition to these filters?
Hi Luke,
It's the filter on the 3D window, so you can filter out the elements that are not linked in the 4D.
Sometimes, some models have duplicated items that I leave behind and just filter out. For instance, duplicated walls from the Architectural and structural models
Thank you for raising this Idea. Can I please confirm that you are referring to Gantt component of the Schedule Tab in Bentley Infrastructure Cloud and the ability to filter the Tasks in the Gantt by their attributes?
If you can please confirm then I will be better placed to give you an update. If it is easier, please feel free to include a screenshot of the area of Bentley Infrastructure Cloud that you are referring to.
Hi Ruben,
Thanks for your reply and the information. Please let me discuss with my colleagues and come back to you.
Kind regards,
Luke
