Enhancements to Markup Tools

Here is a list of enhancements to the markup tools in infrastructure cloud for iModel comment markups. Basically we would like to see feature parity between the markup tools in documents and the markup tools in iModel comments.

• Improve snapping and precise placement of draw tools

• Keeping tools active during placement (when placing a line or text, the tool clears after each placement)

• Add support for polyline placement

• Add support for arcs

• Change the polygon tool to allow for user vertex input (currently it only places a pentagon).

• Allow placement of shapes without fill and better control over fill opacity

• Add support for text masking

• Allow the user to zoom while creating markups
  
  

Other considerations:

• Markups should be able to be created on comments no matter where they are (plan, profile, cross section).

• Many reviewers want to "sketch" markups live, consider adding a markup layer in iModels similar to the placement of temporary dimensions.
